Recorded in Nash County Register of Deeds, Book 2103 — Page 874 Documentation to obtain a LCID permit was submitted to the Section for review on March 14, 2023. PURPOSE OF SITE VISIT: Comprehensive Inspection STATUS OF PAST NOTED VIOLATIONS: None. OBSERVED VIOLATIONS: None. The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into or maintain compliance with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. The access road is of all-weather construction and appears to be properly maintained. 2. The facility is secured by a locking gate. 3. The site has adequate signage posted at the entrance. 4. Edge of waste markers were visible at the time of this inspection. 5. Portions of the southern side slope of the LCID were identified to be nearly vertical and uncovered. Mr. Colbert stated that he had started covering and sloping the northern side slope. He would continue to properly cover and slope the LCID and provide Ms. Thompson photographs once complete. Continue to cover and slope the side slopes. 6. The working face was small and compact. 7. An access road around the waste disposal area has been established. Continue to ensure that the road is cleared of woody vegetation and is accessible via fire -fighting vehicles and equipment. 8. The waste stream was relatively clean, with minimal unacceptable wastes identified. Continue to remove and properly dispose of unacceptable wastes as they are encountered. 9.
