administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit,
or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to
enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and
any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
1) This facility consists of one above ground steel tank with a capacity of 1,500 gallons for the storage of
portable toilet waste.
2) "No Trespassing" sign taped to tank as per Rule 15A NCAC 13B .0838(k).
3) Access road to tank in good shape as per Rule 15A NCAC 13B .0838(b).
4) Tank accessible for inspection as per Rule 15A NCAC 13B .0838(i).
5) No holes or cracks observed in the tank which may allow the escape of septage out of the tank as per
Rule 15A NCAC 13B .0838(c). No leaks noticed. However, the hose connection to the top of the tank
was missing. No leaks or spills noticed from missing hose connection.
6) Septage appears to be transferred to and from the tank in a manner that prevents leaks or spills of
septage onto the tank or ground as per 15A NCAC 13B .0838(j).
7) No vector or odor issues noticed as per Rules 15A NCAC 13B .0838(e)(2) and .0838(g).
