ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
1. The Septage Land Application Site consists of 6 fields as Field 1 (2.5 acres), Field 2 (9.7 acres), Field 3 (4.2
acres) and Field 4 (5.7 acres), Field 5 (5.0 acres), and Field 6 (5.0) acres for a total of 32.1 acres. Field 4 is
inactive at this time until trees are removed and approval by the Solid Waste Section is given for use.
Total usable acreage is 26.4 acres.
2. 1 had received a message with a concern about the crop on Field 1 and odors from the site at times. See
notes below.
3. The required signage was present before you reach the permitted disposal fields.
4. The access roads were in good shape.
5. Required markers appeared to be present.
6. No septage discharges noticed outside of the permitted boundaries of the fields.
7. No thick applications, spot dumps, or grease burns noticed.
8. Field 4 is inactive. Field 2 had been harvested. Fields 5 and 6 had recently been harvested. Hay bales
still on the fields. Field 3 had cattle grazing. Field 1 had not been harvested. Talked to Aaron on
06/29/2022 about Field 1. Aaron said that Field 1 is typically harvested when Field 2 is harvested. The
farmer harvesting the hay fields had to harvest wheat at another site and was not able to harvest Field
at that time. He should be coming back soon to harvest Field 1. Crop stand good on all active fields.
9. No objectionable odors noticed today. A faint odor was notice on Field 2 where application had
occurred previously. No odors noticed outside of the permitted boundary.
10. Based on the permit map, no changes noticed that would affect setback distances.
11. No violations noticed.
