OBSERVED VIOLATIONS: NONE E:-79.57216 The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into or maintain compliance with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. Page 1 of 2 NORTH CARnLINAD_E Q�� o.n.mm.m m c.w.mmen.i a.i� ADDITIONAL COMMENTS FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section 1) This facility consists of three 4,000-gallon, one 10,000-gallon and one 21,000-gallon steel tanks for the storage of domestic septage (including portable toilet waste) and grease septage. The two steel tanks (10,000 & 21,000 gallons) within the concrete containment area shall not be utilized until holes located in the back wall have been sealed. 2) The "No Trespassing" sign is posted as per Rule 15A NCAC 13B .0838(k). 3) Access road to the tanks is good and meets the requirement of Rule 15A NCAC 13B .0838(b). 4) Tanks accessible for inspection as required by Rule 15A NCAC 13B .0838(i). 5) No holes or cracks observed in the tanks which may allow the escape of septage out of the tank as per Rule 15A NCAC 13B .0838(c). No leaks noticed. 6) Septage appears to be transferred to and from the tanks in a manner that prevents leaks or spills of septage onto the tank or ground as per 15A NCAC 13B .0838(j). 7) No vector or odor issues noticed as covered within Rules 15A NCAC 13B .0838(e)(2) and .0838(g). 8) Set-back/buffer requirements appear to have been met.
