OBSERVED VIOLATIONS: NONE The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into or maintain compliance with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. The sign at the access road along Field 3 had been knock down. Please place sign back up. 2) Access road was in excellent shape. 3) Some markers present. Markers were made so that they could be moved. Field borders need to be checked. 4) No discharges observed to be outside of the permitted boundaries based on the permit map. 5) No application issues such as thick applications or spot dumps noticed. 6) Weeds such as dandelions and nut grass observed mainly in Fields 1 and 2. See pictures below. The dandelions appeared to be dying however, they had produced a lot of seeds. Weed control will probably be needed for both the dandelions and nut grass. 7) Hydrant H-1 had been replaced. Leaking form the air vent had been noted from previous inspections. Need to monitor the other hydrants for problems. Some are starting to show possible signs of deterioration as observed by areas of rust observed. See pictures below. 8) No objectionable odors noticed. 9) No change noticed in setback distances based on permit map. 10) Records not checked. Dandelions present in Field 2.
