Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. Sign at the main entrance has been made more stable. Signage also presentat the southernmost access road. 2) The access road was in good shape. 3) The markers were present and visible. 4) No septage discharges noticed outside of the permitted boundaries. 5) Evidence of septage applications to the field noticed today. No spot dumps or thick applications noticed. 6) Fescue coverage is good. Pointed out to Nick areas in the field were the fescue stand needsto be improve. Discussed things to consider when planting fescue. 7) No objectionable odors noticed today. 8) Discussed the irrigation system and about identifying the locations where the sprinkler cart needsto be placed to ensure even application coverage across the field. 9) A soil sample needs to be taken and tested for heavy metals. A soil sample was submitted last year however, it did not include the heavy metals. Please email me a copy of the soil report to chester.cobb@ncdenr.gov when completed.
