Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. Page 1 of 2 FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT D_E Q�� Division of Waste Management NORTH CAROLINA OepaNnent of Environmmbl Welily Solid Waste Section ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 1) This 20.9-acre site consists of two fields Field 1 (10.3 acres) and Field 2 (10.6 acres). Base on the Nutrient Management Plan the site was established in Coastal Bermudagrass and is overseeded in cereal rye for the winter months. 2) The required signage was present before you reach the permitted disposal fields. 3) The access road was in ok shape. 4) Required markers were present. 5) No septage discharges noticed outside of the permitted boundaries. 6) When I drove up to the Site, I met the pump truck. An application had occurred on the Site. No evidence of ponding noticed from the application. No thick applications or spot dumps noticed. 7) Both fields still had rye present. Some winter weeds present also. 8) No objectionable odors noticed today. 9) Need to ensure that the 10 feet setback distance is being maintained along the west side of the site. The required setbacks from the permitted disposal fields are 50 feet towards a property line on the north side, 50 feet towards the railroad and 10 feet from neighboring vegetation on the south & west sides.
