Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. Page 1 of 2 FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT D_E Q�� Division of Waste Management NORTH CAROLINA OepaNnent of Environmental 0ualiry Solid Waste Section ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 1) This facility consists of one above ground 7,500-gallon metal tank for the storage of domestic septage, including portable toilet waste, and grease septage. 2) "No Trespassing" sign present before you get to the permitted septage land application site, SLAS-47-02. This meets the requirement of Rule 15A NCAC 13B .0838(k). 3) Access road to tank is ok and meets the requirement of Rule 15A NCAC 13B .0838(b). 4) Tank accessible for inspection. There was an area of about 5 ft around the tank to allow for inspection. This meets the requirement of Rule 15A NCAC 13B .0838(i). 5) The 7,500-gallon tank is made of metal. No holes or cracks observed which may allow the escape of septage out of the tank as per Rule 15A NCAC 13B .0838(c). No leaks noticed. 6) Septage appears to be transferred to and from the tank in a manner that prevents leaks or spills of septage onto the tank or ground as per 15A NCAC 13B .0838(j). 7) No vector or odor issues noticed as covered within Rules 15A NCAC 13B .0838(e)(2) and .0838(g). 8) No change noticed that would affect setback distances.
