ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
1. David Powell onsite for routine inspections at Richmond County. The site is protected by a gate and fence. Recent rain prevented Section and County staff from inspecting the entire Closed MSW. Landfill was viewed around each side but the western downhill side slope. Site needs additional mowing each year. Landfill had overgrown vegetation which makes it difficult to inspect the landfill for seeps, settling etc. 2. EOW markers were visible on YWN side of site, north side and east side. Access road was in good condition on the YWN side, but downhill side on west was wet and unable to travel. All reads should be of all-weather construction. Mulch was previously taken from YWN and applied across a large area of Closed MSW for erosion control and vegetation establishment.
