Sarah — This is a courtesy notification to NCDEQ Solid Waste that the McGuire Landfill No. 1 gas monitoring well
construction was completed on July 12, 2024. Monitoring wells were installed in accordance the Landfill Gas Monitoring
Plan approved by NCDEQ on April 19, 2024.
The gas monitoring well installation report is expected to be submitted to NCDEQ by August 2024.
The first gas monitoring event is scheduled for today (July 24, 2024).
