This is intended to serve as a reminder to all permitted tire collection and/or disposal sites that the annual permit fee is due
on or before July 1 of each year. As stated in the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Rules, 15A NCAC 13B
.1102(b), "An annual permit fee shall be paid to the Division on or before July 1, as follows:
(1) A scrap tire collection site: two hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00); and
(2) A scrap tire disposal site: two hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00)."
According to our records your company will need to pay $250.00 for the FY 2006-2007 to be in compliance with
Division Rules for your scrap tire collection site (43-08).
Please send the appropriate payment, made payable to the North Carolina Division of Waste Management, to my attention
at 1646 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, NC 27699-1646. Any questions regarding your solid waste permit should be
directed to Geoff Little, the Regional Engineer located at the Raleigh Central Office, [phone].
