OTHER COMMENTS /SUGGESTIONS:
1. A meeting was held to discuss the expansion of the C&D Landfill.
2. The Permit to Operate has been issued for the new cell.
3. The first load of waste was placed into the cell today.
4. The disturbed areas need to be provided with a ground cover sufficient to restrain erosion. Corrective
actions to provide adequate ground cover need to be underway.
5. NCAC 13B .0505 (2)(b) Spreading and Compacting Requirements states "Solid waste shall be compacted as
densely as practical into cells.' Additional means, other than a dozer, are needed to properly compact the
waste.
