NOTICE OF VIOLATIONS) (citation and explanation):

You are hereby advised that, pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $5,000 per day may be assessed for each
violation of the Solid Waste Statute or Regulations. If the violation(s) noted here continue, you may be subject to enforcement actions
including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further
relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.
C&D Landfill unit:
Permit #43-03 Operation Requirements Section 5, Cover Requirements: It was observed at the time of inspection that the
landfill surface and most of the slope area has been covered and or repaired such that waste is sufficiently covered;
Also it was observed that the leachate breakout observed during the last inspection has been repaired; the slopes on the
lower side of the landfill have been well -repaired and/or covered with soil, and drainage has been addressed and improved
as well; in discussion Mr. Smith indicated they need an additional few weeks to complete slope coverage on the east slope,
Within thirty (30) days cover all exposed waste on slopes and top of landfill with at least 6" soil cover;

C&D Landfill unit:
1. Observed that landfill working face is of more manageable size;
2. Observed that drainage ditches reworked and improved, particularly on south side of cell;
