If the violation(s) noted here continue, you maybe subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. Page 2 of 2 STATUS OF PAST NOTED VIOLATIONS: None OTHER COMMENTS /SUGGESTIONS: 1. NCAC 13B .0505 (6)(b) states "Temporary seeding will be utilized as necessary to stabilize the site." Actions to provide ground cover sufficient to restrain erosion need to be underway. 2. NCAC 13B .0505 (2)(b) Spreading and Compacting Requirements states "Solid waste shall be compacted as densely as practical into cells." Additional means, other than a dozer, are needed to properly compact the waste. 3. The exposed areas need to be properly covered on a weekly basis. 4. I would recommend that fencing be placed adjacent to the working face to minimize the wind blown waste. 5. Grading and stabilization activities need to be completed no later than April 15, 2005.
