The Solid Waste Section received an Assessment Action Plan proposed by ENSOL, Inc. on
September 19,2002 on behalf of Harnett County. Included in the proposal are additional
observation wells and groundwater samples by using Geoprobem.
The purpose of the action plan is to improve understanding of the limits of the groundwater
contamination in the upper aquifer. Approval is granted as proposed.
Please proceed to implement the approved proposal and submit an assessment report in
conjunction with the semi -amoral sampling report for October 2002. If you have any questions
