You are hereby advised that, pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $5,000 per day maybe assessed for each
violation of the Solid Waste Statute or Regulations. If the violation(s) noted here continue, you may be subject to enforcement actions
including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such
further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.
STATUS OF PAST NOTED VIOLATIONS (List all noted last audit):

C&D Landfill:
1. Inspected area of recent fire in the C&D landfill working face; the area was excavated to access and extinguish
burning "pockets" of waste; area has been well -covered with dirt; no smoke visible emanating from waste at
this time;
2. Some windblown waste was observed on the slopes of the C&D landfill area; windblown or other waste
should be collected and disposed of at the end of each day's operations;

Continue on -going program of maintenance of soil cap and vegetative cover, plan and conduct any repairs
needed on thin or eroded areas; plan to reseed these areas well by autumn.
LCID Landfill:
4. It was observed that a large slope area of the LCID landfill is uncovered; cover this slope area within 30 days
and limit working face to a more manageable size.
