of public notice tasks for the draft Brownfields Agreement for the above -referenced site. Enclosed

• Affidavit of Publication of the Summary of Notice of Intent to Redevelop a Brownfields
Property (SNI) in the News & Observer on July 1, 2024;
• Photographs of the SNI posted at the site on June 28, 2024;

Pursuant to the North Carolina Brownfields Property Reuse Act (the

The Act requires a public comment period of at least 30 days. The first day

notice tasks have occurred: the date this Notice is: (1) published in a newspa-
per of general circulation serving the area in which the Brownfields Property is

located; (2) conspicuously posted at the Brownfields Property; and (3) mailed
or delivered to each owner of property contiguous to the Brownfields Property.

located at 828 Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The SNI sets forth
one location where the documents related to the Brownfields project may be reviewed by the
public, and how public input regarding the project may be provided to DEQ.
