ATC Associates of North Carolina, P.C. (ATC) has prepared this report to document public
outreach activities at the above referenced site. The work was performed under contract to the
North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality Dry-cleaning Solvent Cleanup Act
Program as authorized in State Lead Authorization for Work #010.

On March 18, 2024, ATC mailed a prenotification letter to the property owner/DSCA site
petitioner of A Cleaner World #203 (source property). The purpose of the prenotification letter
was to give the source property owner advanced notice to public outreach activities as part of
the site-related work. The prenotification letter informed the source property owner that survey
forms and letters would be mailed to the surrounding public on March 25, 2024, which serve
two main purposes: (1) inform the public about the ongoing assessment and (2) gather data on
potential water supply wells in the vicinity. The source property owner was also given contact
information for the ATC Project Manager and the DSCA Program Manager, in the event the
owner had questions regarding the mailing, and an example letter that would be sent to the
public.

On March 25, 2024, ATC mailed Dry-Cleaning Solvent Contamination notification letters to all
owners of properties located within 500 feet of the groundwater plume and assessment area,
with the exception of the source property owner who was notified prior to public outreach
activities. Each letter was mailed via United States Postal Service (USPS) and was
accompanied by a Water Supply Well Information Request Form to be filled out and retuned to
ATC in the provided self-addressed and stamped envelope. ATC mailed a total of 19 letters to
property owners in the area inquiring about 23 properties. Water Supply Well Information
Request Forms were returned for eight properties. Three forms were returned as undeliverable.
Based on the responses, no water supply wells were identified.

In addition, ATC mailed Dry-Cleaning Solvent Contamination outreach letters to the City of
Durham Manager, the Durham County Health Director, and the Durham County Environmental
