Dear Mr. Dobson,
The NC Division of Waste Management received your notice of cease operation to close the
Septage Detention & Treatment Facility (permit #SDTF 31-16) & Septage Land Application Site
(permit #SLAS 31-16) located on Carr Town Road in Duplin County. A final inspection was performed.
As of this date, permits #SDTF 31-16 & #SLAS 31-16 have been closed out. If in the future
you wish to obtain a permit for a septage facility or land application site, please contact this office to
initiate the permitting process. Use of a septage facility or land application site that is not permitted
may result in administrative penalties up to $15,000 per violation in accordance with NC General
Statute 130A-22.
