Dear Ms. Jordan,
The NC Division of Waste Management received your notice of cease operation to close the
Septage Detention & Treatment Facility (permit #SDTF 82-20) & Septage Land Application Site
(permit #SLAS 82-18) located on SR#1222 & SR#1827 in Sampson County. A final inspection was
performed at both site locations.
As of this date, permits #SDTF 82-20 & #SLAS 82-18 have been closed out. If in the future
you wish to obtain a permit for a septage facility or land application site, please contact this office to
initiate the permitting process. Use of a septage facility or land application site that is not permitted
may result in administrative penalties up to $15,000 per violation in accordance with NC General
Statute 130A-22.

or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to
enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any
such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.
