The NC Division of Waste Management received your notice of cease operation to close the
Septage Land Application Site (permit #SLAS 33-04) located on SR#1200 in Edgecombe County. The
effective cease operation date was December 31, 2016 and a final inspection was performed.
As of this date, permits #SLAB 33-04 has been closed out. If in the future you wish to obtain
a permit for a septage facility or land application site, please contact this office to initiate the
permitting process. Use of a septage facility or land application site that is not permitted may result
in administrative penalties up to $15,000 per violation in accordance with NC General Statute 130A-
22.

1) No signage present. All previous equipment and portable toilets had been moved.
2) Site had been planted in rye.
3) No issue observed as to why site could not be closed.
