Dear Mr. Smitch,
The NC Division of Waste Management received your notice of cease operation to close the
Septage Detention & Treatment Facility (permit #SDTF 10-12) located on SR#1300 in Brunswick
County. The effective cease operation date was January 1, 2022 and a final inspection was
performed.
As of this date, permit #SDTF 10-12 has been closed out. If in the future you wish to obtain a
permit for a septage facility or land application site, please contact this office to initiate the
permitting process. Use of a septage facility or land application site that is not permitted may result
in administrative penalties up to $15,000 per violation in accordance with NC General Statute 130A-
22.
