Dear Mr. & Mrs. Heath,
The NC Division of Waste Management received your notice of cease operation to close the
Septage Detention & Treatment Facility (permit #SDTF 54-02) located on Hwy 55 in Lenoir County.
The effective cease operation date was February 24, 2022 and a final inspection was performed.
As of this date, permit #SDTF 54-02 has been closed out. If in the future you wish to obtain a
permit for a septage facility or land application site, please contact this office to initiate the
permitting process. Use of a septage facility or land application site that is not permitted may result
in administrative penalties up to $15,000 per violation in accordance with NC General Statute 130A-
22.

such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.
