Sidney Dell Misenheimer A 38288 Gold Hill Road Richfield, NC 28137 Re: Notice of No Further Action 15A NCAC 02L .0407(e) Risk-based Assessment and Corrective Action for Petroleum Underground Storage Tanks Yes Auto Sales 4550 NC-24-27 E, Unit 1 Stanly County Incident Number: 91408 Risk Classification: Low Dear Ms. Misenheimer: The Underground Storage Tank Section, Corrective Action Branch, Mooresville Regional Office visited the site on September 6, 2023, and could not locate where the “petroleum leaking from vehicles being crushed” was located. It is assumed that Natural Attenuation has occurred over the last eight (8) years. The UST Section determines that no further action is warranted. This determination shall apply unless the UST Section later finds that contamination at the site poses an unacceptable risk or a potentially unacceptable risk to human health or the environment. Pursuant to Title 15A NCAC 02L .0407(a) you have a continuing obligation to notify the Department of any changes that might affect the risk. This No Further Action determination applies only to the current investigation; for any other incidents at the subject site, the responsible party must continue to address contamination as required.
