Good afternoon Mr. Mills,

As we discussed on the phone earlier today, we (CES of NC, PLLC) recently performed a groundwater
sampling event associated with Incident #86246 for the Reinhardt Heating & Air Conditioning
(Energy Dispatch) facility addressed as 3003 Highway 27 East in Lincolnton. As part of the sampling
event, two (2) offsite supply wells (WSW-1 & WSW-2) were sampled. Laboratory analysis of the
WSW-1 groundwater sample yielded limited measurable VOCs. A summary of the water supply well
(WSW-1) and the analytical results are provided below:

*The property owner told me today that the supply well is not used for drinking water (only
bathroom)
*The property is not connected to public water

WSW-1 – Analytical Results
Benzene – 1.54 ug/L
1,2-Dichlorobenzene – 0.321 (J) ug/L
Isopropylbenzene – 0.267 (J) ug/L
MTBE – 0.409 (J) ug/L
n-Propylbenzene – 0.0994 (J) ug/L
0-xylene – 0.808 (J) ug/L

We will prepare and submit a Groundwater Monitoring Report, which will document recent
sampling activities.
