GRI has completed the receptor survey for the Yogi Foods Site (3005 Wilkesboro Hwy, Statesville, NC
28625) and the survey revealed the presence of nine (9) total water supply wells within 1500 feet of
the site. Five of the wells are within 1,000 feet of the site, and two of the five do not have a
municipal water connection. There is one water supply well on the site, but it is inactive and
municipal water is available and in use. Therefore, the site should be classified as High Risk.
Furthermore, the concentration of EDB in the ground water sample exceeds 10x2L (EDB is 0.239
ug/l), so a High-Risk LSA should be conducted. Do we have approval to move forward with High-Risk
LSA activities?
