Dear Mr. Chiara:
A Notice of Regulatory Requirements (NORR) was issued on December 12, 2023, by this office. The
NORR requested a Comprehensive Site Assessment. This letter serves two purposes. The first is to retract
the NORR issued on December 12, 2023, as it was issued in error. The second purpose of this letter is to
acknowledge the receipt of the Monitoring Well Installation and Groundwater Monitoring report received
by the UST Section, Division of Waste Management on October 3, 2023. The report has been reviewed
and will be maintained in the Mooresville Regional Office.
Please continue with the next semiannual groundwater monitoring event and LNAPL gauging. In the
report we request that you propose remedial technology for the UST Section, Division of Waste
Management to consider. Once we have met internally to discuss the remedial technology, I will issue a
Feasibility NORR.
