New Cell Activation Form ----Leachate Column and Stormwater Separation
Phase, Cell, and Sub -cell:
A - Leachate collection trench/column:
The geotextile on the top of the leachate column has been removed or folded back,
along the length of the subcell column, to allow direct contact of waste with the
gravel/coarse aggregate.

B - Leachate pipe connection between sub -cells:
The leachate pipe connection flow between the two sub -cells has been connected
or opened.

The geomembrane liner weld around the leachate pipe has been removed or
altered to open flow around the pipe

C - Geomembrane flap along the width of the cell:
Describe the removal and flattening of the geomembrane flap along the entire
width of the cell, to allow sheet flow between the sub -cells.
