Anson Waste Management Facility (Anson Landfill), Permit 0403-MSWLF-2010
Dear Mr. Stewart:
Please find with this email, the Permit to Construct and Operate for the Anson Landfill. This permit
approves the lateral and vertical expansion of the landfill, adding Phase 5.
In general, the new facility permit does not reiterate permit conditions which are included in the
Solid Waste Management Rules, 15A NCAC 13B, nor does it restate specific conditions which are
included within the approved plans, such as site -specific operations. Please review the conditions
of the permit carefully.

Also included is a cell activation form to be completed when an upgradient subcell is to be opened
for use.
