Roads were of all-weather construction and were being maintained at the time of inspection. 10. Windblown waste was minimal and well managed at the time of inspection. 11. The tipping floor, loading bays and the other areas of the building are being cleaned in accordance with 15A NCAC 13B .0405(a)(11). 12. The trench drain at the entrance to tipping floor was clear and appeared to be working correctly. 13. One tire was observed in a recently tipped load, facility staff also saw it and stated that they would remove it from the tipping floor. 14. Spalling is occurring on the top of the tipping floor and aggregate is visible. Continue to monitor the floor and if any rebar becomes exposed, a repair plan will be necessary. 15. Fire extinguishers and a yard hydrant are located at the entrance to the tipping floor for use in case of a fire. 16. The facility has installed metal sheeting on the framing in the loading bay area to prevent waste from getting caught on the building girders, except for the lowest beam. Waste was observed on the lowest beam during the inspection, ensure that all waste is removed from inside the beam at the end of each working day as required by 15A NCAC 13B .0405(a)(11). 17.
