Dear Ms. Brown:

Speedway LLC (Speedway) respectfully requests a 60-day extension for the current Limited
Site Assessment (LSA). The report for this scope of work is currently due April 2, 2020.

On February 5, 2020, the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (NCDEQ) issued
its Notice of Regulatory Requirements to Speedway requesting the completion of a Phase II
Limited Site Assessment (Phase II LSA) following its review of the LSA. In order to complete
the Phase II LSA requirements, the NCDEQ requested the installation and sampling of two
additional monitoring wells.

Due to the availability of air knifing and drilling contractors, the monitoring well installations are
currently scheduled for April 6 and 20, 2020, respectively. The 60-day extension would extend
the report’s due date to June 5, 2020.
