Dear Mr. Chiara:
The UST Section, Division of Waste Management, is in receipt of the Groundwater Monitoring Report dated July 2, 2021, and the Tank Closure Report dated August 18, 2021. The reports have been reviewed and will be maintained in the Fayetteville Regional Office.
After review of these reports, the DWM requests additional monitoring which should include:
• The installation of one additional horizontal extent monitoring well where temporary monitoringwell TW-02 was installed on May 27, 2021.
• The collection of groundwater samples from the new well, and from monitoring well MW-4,which is located between the source area and the receptor.
The additional monitoring should be summarized in a monitoring report. The report should be received by
this office no later than March 28, 2021.
