Incident #29456
GRI Project #2548
Dear Mr. Currie:
Geological Resources, Inc. (GRI) presents the internal discussion regarding remediation options for the
site that was conducted on April 6, 2023. During the discussion, it was proposed that temporary
monitoring wells should be installed between the store building and canopy to define the ground water
concentrations in that area. Additional temporary wells should be installed between the monitoring wells
with free product and benzene concentrations greater than the Gross Contamination Level to further
define the contaminant plume and assist in potential injectant dosing. A potential remediation trench
may be considered in the area between the store building and canopy to aid in the distribution of
petroleum reducing compounds such as PetroFix, CoolOx and/or Bos200. A recovery well would also be
installed between monitoring wells MW-2 and MW-21 with a pilot test MMPE event conducted on the
recovery well in order to assess recovery rates at the site.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Geological Resources, Inc.
William Regenthal, P. G.
