The report has been reviewed and you are requested to shut the remedial system down as soon as practical. Until decisions can be made regarding the future disposition of the remedial system, it is understood from most municipalities that a minimum use monthly charge may apply to maintain the electrical account. This office sees no further need to continue paying for telemetry services. Following system shutdown, the incident needs to be monitored on a semi-annual schedule using a reduced number of monitoring wells. Groundwater samples should be analyzed using EPA 6200B with oxygenates and the first sampling event should include natural attenuation parameters. Data should be submitted in the Monitoring Report format. Also needed is coordination with the adjacent property owner’s consultant (details provided to ATC in a 9/25/2023 email). The parcel(s) owned by H&M Developers, LLC, are planned for development to begin within 8-10 weeks and all monitoring and remedial system wells on the H&M Developers, LLC, parcel(s) need to be properly abandoned. This concern needs to be expedited. If you have questions regarding the information contained in this letter, please contact me at the address or telephone number listed below. Sincerely, Kenneth E.
