We have received an Application, Payment and Training documentation for permit NCS-00768. Currently our office has not received a Disposal Authorization. To receive your 2024 Firm Permit, a current Disposal Authorization is required. You have stated (per a phone conversation) that your vehicle is inoperable and that no pumping has occurred for months. You further stated that the local WWTP would not issue a disposal authorization while your vehicle is inoperable. Therefore, as it currently stands, your application is incomplete and there is no valid 2024 permit. Please note that you may not legally operate a septage management firm in North Carolina without a permit*. Please be aware that when your vehicle is repaired you must obtain a new Septage Management Firm Permit before performing any septage pump jobs. To receive your 2024 Septage Management Firm Permit, you must complete the following: 1. Please mail a completed/notarized disposal authorization for any discharge locations that you wish to use. With the disposal authorization form please also include a completed vehicle recertification form. Mail the two required forms to the address below: Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section 1646 Mail Service Center Raleigh, NC 27699-1646 With this letter I have included a blank disposal authorization and vehicle recertification form for your use. If in the future, you decide not to obtain a septage management firm permit please inform our office by submitting the cease operation form which is also included with this letter. ez:5—D-- E North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality I Division of Waste Management 217 West Jones Street 1 1646 Mall Service Center I Raleigh, North Carolina 27699-1646 919.707.8200 Reminder: you may not legally operate a septage management firm in North Carolina without a permit. {General Statutes, GS 130A-291.1 (c).
