Dear Mr. Newton:

On behalf of the responsible party, Quality Oil Company, LLC, Terraquest Environmental
Consultants, P.C., is reporting the results of a lone monitoring well sampling for the Springs Road
Gas House facility located in Hickory, North Carolina. The site’s location, vicinity, and layout are
shown on the attached Figures 1, 2, and 3.

As requested by the NCDWM-UST and pre-approved on ePATA 12328-072, Terraquest personnel
purged and sampled the lone groundwater monitoring well (MW15) with previous 2L Standard
violation on February 21, 2024. The attached analytical report reveals the absence of any
petroleum-type compounds at concentrations above the lab’s MDL or RDL.

Overall, there is very little contamination left and it poses a low risk to nearby receptors.
Terraquest recommends closing this release incident.
