The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into or maintain compliance
with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an
administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit,
or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to
enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any
such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
1. The facility is fenced and is secured by a locking gate when it is not open for operation.
2. Correct signage is at the entrance of the facility listing the facility name, permit number, emergency contact
information as well as materials accepted at the facility.

3. The facility accepts waste Monday through Friday from 0700 to 1600.
4. The permit, operations plan, and training records were not reviewed during this inspection. However, please review
the expiration dates for training certificates and sign up for upcoming classes as needed.
5. Waste screening records were reviewed during this inspection. Unacceptable wastes are removed from the waste
stream for proper disposal.
6. Minimal waste was observed underneath the compactor during this inspection. Continue to ensure that the waste is
removed as needed throughout the and prior to the end of the operating day.
7. One trailer was identified to have damage to the interior side wall of the trailer. The tear did not extend to the
exterior wall of the trailer. GFL Environmental maintains the trailers of the Warren County Transfer Station. Ms.
Thompson notified Mr. Randy Deming, GFL Environmental, of the damage to the trailer. Mr. Deming stated that
he would have the trailer repaired. Ms. Thompson also notified the operator of the damage due to the facility
utilizing a compactor to load the trailers.
8. Windblown waste was being well -managed around the transfer station.
9. Electronics are containerized and stored within a building on -site prior to collection by the electronics recycler.
10. The white goods are stored upright on a concrete pad to the north of the transfer station.
11. Tires are laced within an on -site trailer.
12. Digital photographs were taken during the inspection.
