(Labella) on behalf of Pamlico County. Pamlico County initiated 1,4-Dioxane analysis in November 2018 and during the 11 subsequent monitoring events, 1,4-Dioxane was not detected in monitoring wells MW-3, MW-4, MW-6, MW-7, and in the downstream surface water monitoring location. As a result, Labella requested to discontinue 1,4- Dioxane analysis at those locations. Labella intends to continue analyzing samples from MW-1, MW-2, MW-5, NES-1, and the upstream sampling location for 1,4-dioxane. Based on the results of the previous 12 monitoring events, Labella’s 1,4-Dioxane monitoring reduction request is approved.
