Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. Page 1 of 3 FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 1) Currently, the Septage Land Application Site consists of a 24.1-acre site divided into four (4) fields: Field Al (3.5 acres), Field A2 (9.4 acres), Field B1 (2.9 acres), and Field B2 (8.3 Acres). All four fields are established in fescue. 2) This site is permitted for land application of domestic septage (including portable toilet waste) and grease trap pumpings. 3) 15A NCAC 13B .0842(a)(2): Appropriate signage was displayed at the entrance to the fields. 4) 15A NCAC 13B .0842(a)(3): All weather roads are well maintained. 5) 15A NCAC 13B .0842(a)(10): Boundary markers were present and compliant with the septage rules. 6) Fields A2, B1, and B2 are used moderately and Field Al has not been active in several years. The fields had been harvested just prior to inspection.
