Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. Page 1 of 2 FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT D_E Q�� Division of Waste Management NORTH CAROLINA Oepa—t M Environmental 0- iry Solid Waste Section ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 1) The Septage Land Application Site consists of Field 1 (10.0 acres), Field 2 (3.8 acres), and Field 3 (5.1 acres) for a total of 18.9 usable acres for the land application of domestic septage (including portable toilet waste) and grease septage. 2) Required signage was present as required per 15A NCAC 13B .0842(a)(2), but some of the lettering is faded and needs repair. 3) All weather roads are maintained as required per 15A NCAC 13B .0842(a)(3). 4) Boundary markers were present, complying with 15A NCAC 13B .0842(a)(10). 5) Crop quality was poor and patchy on all fields. The Nutrient Management Plan (NMP) states that Fields 1 and 3 are planted in fescue while Field 2 is planted in millet and wheat. Field 2 is to be reseeded in October or November. The NMP also states that areas that develop with less than 80% groundcover by fescue will be reseeded with fescue at a rate of 30 Ibs/acre sod drill in October.
