Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. Page 1 of 2 FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 1) This facility consists of one 325 gallon plastic tank (including pump out station & adjacent lines) for the storage of domestic septage pumped from boats. Boats that discharge waste at this facility shall not be used as permanent residences. 2) 15A NCAC 13B .0838(b): An all-weather access road is maintained. 3) 15A NCAC 13B .0838(c): No holes or cracks which may allow the escape of septage were noted. 4) 15A NCAC 13B .0838(e)(2) and 15A NCAC 13B .0838(g): No vector or odor issues were noted. 5) 15A NCAC 13B .0838(i): No vegetation was noted within 5 feet of the tank. 6) 15A NCAC 13B .0838(k): Proper signage was posted on site. 7) 15A NCAC 13B .0838(m): Setback requirements appear to have been met.
