Dear Ladies/Gentlemen:

On November 3, 2022 the NCDEQ sent a letter to Mr. Parker requesting that the onsite water supply well be
abandoned in order for the incident at the site to receive a No Further Action (NFA). As requested by Blue
Ridge Geological Services (Blue Ridge), Mr. Laverne Deese of Laverne Deese Well Drilling abandoned two
water supply wells near the garage on the property on April 21, 2023. The wells were abandoned in
accordance with County and State guidelines. Copies of a site location map and the well abandonment
forms are attached. Please contact the undersigned if you have any questions regarding this submittal or
if you need additional information.
