Water Supply Well Locations Appendices Appendix A: Laboratory Analytical Report Introduction This report presents the results of the December 2023 water supply well monitoring event conducted for the seven water supply wells surrounding the Four Point 76 located at 1702 Hickory Grove Road in Belmont, Gaston County, North Carolina. NCDEQ requested WSW-1 be dropped from the sampling list and sample water supply wells WSW-2, WSW-7, WSW-8, WSW-9, WSW-17, WSW-18, and WSW-19. Field Activities The seven water supply wells surrounding Four Point 76 were sampled on December 21, 2023. Each well was sampled following a purge of approximately 20 minutes to allow the well to equalize and clean out each pressure tank. Each water sample was transferred directly from the spigot to the appropriate sample container provided by the laboratory. The samples were stored on ice and delivered to Pace Analytical. All samples were submitted for laboratory analysis of Volatile Organics (VOCs) by method 6200B. A copy of the laboratory deliverable package is included in the Appendix of this report. Sampling Results Groundwater Laboratory analysis of wells WSW-2, WSW-7, WSW-8, WSW-9, WSW-17, WSW-18, and WSW-19 did not detect any compounds above the NCAC 2L groundwater standards. Water Supply Well Information Currently, there are 68 water supply wells located within 1,000 feet of the site. This report represents the sampling and analysis of the seven water supply wells closest to the Site. Groundwater Flow Direction During the Comprehensive Site Assessment (CSA), the groundwater flow direction at the site was determined to be to the east-southeast. Conclusions and Recommendations None of the seven water supply wells contained any compounds exceeding the NCAC 2L groundwater standards. Singleton Environmental recommends forwarding this report to the NCDEQ Toxicologist for review.
