In Louisburg 40 I and 39 are joined. North of Louisburg at the lngleside community the highways split. Watch for the 401 sign to make a sharp right turn to stay on 40 l . Approximately 11 miles from the turn you will see Pernell's store (a white block building with gas pumps) on the left and a junkyard on the right. About a mile later you will reach the intersection of 401 and SR 1626. At the intersection there is a blue trailer on the right and a church, the Universal Mission Apostolic Church of PAW, in an old school building on the left. Turn right. Coley Springs Baptist Church is located about 0.5 miles from the intersection on the right. There is a cemetery on the left. At this point they is a "Y" in the road. Go to the left onto SR 1604, Limertown Road. Continue on this road for 2 to 3 miles. The road will make a sharp left turn and go down a small hill. There are two fields on the right usually containing cattle. Between the fields is a dirt road. There is a project sign at this access road to the site. Continue on the access road until you reach the landfill. The site is surrounding by a chain link fence and there is a guard trailer at the gate. From Warrenton From Warrenton take US 401 South approximately 2 to 3 miles. Turn left on Limertown Road (SR 1604). It is the second left after you leave Warrenton. Continue on this road for 1.5 to 2.0 miles. You will pass a number of mobile homes on the left. Richneck Creek is immediately after the modular home with two lions in the front. You should start looking to the left for two fields with a dirt road between them. The fields normally have cattle grazing. There is a project sign at this access road to the site. Continue O!"} the access road until you reach the landfill. Turn right onto Business 158 and follow this Hwy about 1/2 mile. Turn right on 58 East or Country Club Road and follow it for 1/2 mile. Take first paved road to the left. Turn right on SR 1626 about 1 /2 mi north of Coley Springs Baptist Church, At "y" with SR 1604, go to left on 1604 (Limer Town Road). Landfill access road is approximately 1 mi on right. Look for "NC DOT Maintained. No Trespassing" sign. From Warrenton take US 401 South approx. 2 to 3 miles. Turn left on SR 1604. Landfill access road is 1.5 to 2 miles on left. Look for "NC DOT Maintained. No Trespassing" sign. Directions to new office of the PCB Landfill Working Group From Raleigh, you can go either of two ways Take US 1 north to Norlina. Turn right onto 401/ 158 business (there will be an Exxon station on your right and the Landmark Restaurant on your left at this intersection). Bear right at the next intersection and go about 2 miles. The new office is located in the CP&L building on your left. Take 401 north to Warrenton. Go past the courthouse where we usually meet. Turn left onto 158 west at the stoplight (you'll see the John Graham School at this intersection).
