Subject: Review of the submittal for a septage detention tank (SDTF)-Greg Lyons
Attachments: SDTF Land auth-private.pdf
John,
I have reviewed the information submitted for the Septage Detention or Treatment Facility off of Parktown Road in
Warren County. Below is the added information needed.
• Concerning the Application For A Permit to Operate A Septage Detention or Treatment Facility.
o For Question I. 2., it appears that Linda Lyons is the landowner when I checked the property information
for Warren County. If that is the case, she needs to be listed as the landowner.
o The size (gallons) of the tank needs to be listed for Question 11. 4.
o For Question II. 6. The answer should be as "All spills and leaks will be contained and cleaned u
immediately. Any leaks will be patched up or repaired immediately. Any septage cleaned up will be
disposed of properly. Hydrated lime will be spread over spilled area to control odors." We do not
encourage the disking or digging of a pit at the detention tank.
o Application needs to be signed.
Upon checking the property information for Warren County, Linda Lyons is listed as the owner. Linda will either
need to sign the application, or a landowner authorization will need to be completed. I have attached a blank
landowner authorization form.
I did not see a mark for the SDTF on any of the maps submitted. Please place a mark on one of the maps as to
where they would like the tank.
I will send you another email for the SLAS submittal. If you have any questions, please contact me.
Thanks,
Chester
