The Joint Warren County /State PCB Landfill Working Group has decided to enlist
the services of Hirschhorn & Associates and Barnes, Ferland & Associates in
response to the RFP soliciting science advisor consultant service. Both parties
have been notified in writing that their offer of services has been accepted by
the Working Group.
Both parties have a lso been informed verbally that the Working Group has
decided to allocate certain science advisor duties to each of them. The
proposed division of labor is as follows:

Development of Project Master Plan
Site Geology Review
Legislative Support
(Lobbying, Community Activation)
Contract Administration
(Detoxification Contractor)
HIRSCHHORN & ASSOCIATES
Technology Assessment
Legislative Support
(Lobbying, Community Activation)
Both parties were told that someone from your office would contact them to
begin the contract negotiation process. Please note that the Working Group
voted to review the contracts before final signatures are made.
