SUBJECT: Request for applicable rates for Science Advisor position
Dear Mr. Lancaster:
As I discussed with you, it is difficult to set a final rate for the professional services which will be required
of the Science Advisor, not knowing the full scope of work. Assuming that support services and direct
costs will be handled separately and that the Science Advisor will work under the contract for at least one
year, 10 hours per week, I can offer my services at a rate of $75 .00 per hour. This represents a 25%
reduction in my normal rate for Hazardous Waste Consulting.
I have also attached an adjusted BF A corporate rate sheet for the professionals we have on staff.
If the rate mentioned above is unsatisfactory during the negotiation process, I will work hard to adjust my
rate to fit within the allocated budget.
