Dear Ms. Moutos:
On behalf of the City of Albemarle, we have enclosed the updated Closure/Post-Closure Cost
Estimates for Financial Assurance for the subject facility.
Please note that the Post -Closure Cost and Current Corrective Action Cost estimates for the MSW
Landfill have been updated and are now in 2023 dollars. The other costs have been updated using the
2023 inflation factor of 1.069. The updated cost worksheets are attached for your reference. These
costs will be used for the Government Financial Test once approved by the state.
