The subject property is located within Pitt County's planning and zoning jurisdiction and is currently zoned RURAL AGRICULTURAL (RA). Please be advised that the proposed use may be allowed on the subject property provided you obtain all requisite permits or approvals from the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality, Division of Waste Management. Red shaded portions are areas where soil morphological indicators of wetness are deeper than 2 ft. Hashed areas show regions adjacent to the drainage ditch where groundwater was deeper than 2 ft during the monitoring period except a few days following heavy rains. The Yellow shaded areas are locations where groundwater dropped below 2 ft during late February and remained below 2 ft for most of the monitored period.
