Incident Response Narrative
Call Log:
12:49 Eric Buice called in to report a tractor fire that they had in Hickory, NC.
He will need to have a contractor go assess the site to see if they have
any cleanup to do. This is a natural gas vehicle, so there may be 10-
gallon of coolant and 48 quarts of oil. Eric would like a call back with
what is found for any state reporting he will take care of.
12:54 William Lewis was called on site. He advised that he will send over
some pics to HMOne.
12:57 Miller was called to respond. Scott Mason advised that they can be
there in an hour. He will send Bobby 631-603-5576 as the supervisor
with a couple techs, response van, boom, drums and absorbents.
13:52 Bobby called back in to advise that he is on site now. He is going to go
assess this now.
13:59 Bobby called back in to advise that he didn’t find anything to clean up.
The tow truck already took care of the debris from the truck. He advised
that the oil/coolant has all been burned up. Bobby advised that there
wasn’t anything that went down the hillside.
14:02 Eric Buice was called; he advised to have the team go ahead and pull
samples in case they want to run them for anything. Eric will let HMOne
know if they want anything ran tomorrow.
14:10 Bobby called in; he will get the samples pulled for this in case UPS wants
to run them.
